Throughout the 1980's there wasn't a GCA Wafertrac® system owner anywhere in the world who didn't use (or at least know about) SITE's products and services for this venerable old tool. SITE has since evolved into a designer and manufacturer of semiconductor wafer processing products in two areas; the ESVG (Enhanced SVG) track upgrades and systems, and the Tractrix™ compact spin tracks.

Given the popularity of the SVG track, beginning in 1989, SITE expanded its offerings to address the demand for repair services and module upgrades for 81- and 86-series tools. These SITE ESVG products include improved spin cups, drain systems, hot plates, sensor systems and other enhancements for these belted-carriage systems. In fact, SITE can (and does) build complete 81- or 86-series tools from scratch.
